Media Advisory Nothing beats a media advisory if you want to get the media to your event. These "news release-ettes" are designed to go out the day before an event. They give a sharp visual element of what's going on, last minute information, and provide a quick scan of who, what, when, where, and why. Media Advisories work best when sent as a follow up to a news release sent a few days before the event. Media advisories are particularly effective with the broadcast media, as they provide those crucial visual elements that are "camera ready." When you are ready to send out your advisory, be sure to use our handy Media Guide!
